"Why do two colors, put one next to the other, sing?"

Felt like going to the opposite end of the colour spectrum after doing the last post on monochrome (it feels like such a long time since I last posted, yet its only been 3 days - I've been super busy doing stuff for the new job as I start on Monday - Excitinggg!

This outfit I wore to a beautiful summer wedding in Queensland, Australia. The wedding was held up in Mount Tambourine and we were lucky, having beautiful weather for the whole time we were up there.

I love this shirt (Neon Love @ General Pants $70), I think the small collar is so cute and really different. You can't really see but she shirt is actually sheer so looks great casual or dressed up. I am a big fan of teaming colours together and the orange and blue (to me) looked great together - every time I told people what I would be wearing, I could see the look of disagreement on their face when I said how well the colours went - haha.

The bag was another Diva purchase, however, when I picked it up it was a plain black bag with the silver edging. I picked up some funky geometric print headbands and added them to the bag to make it a little bit different and tie the colours in. I was really happy with how it turned out as it was a bit of a make-shift job and I only glued it on - though it's lasted - 6 months on and no sign of tiring!

The shoes I actually picked up at New Look for a job interview, I really like the textured wedge, it adds a little something to the shoes to make them a bit different, not just your run of the mill black heels.
