#LipsyVIPAwards

This week, I was lucky enough to spend my Wednesday night at the very first Lipsy VIP awards. The awards were held at DSTRKT nightclub in Piccadilly Circus and outside the club you couldn't move for people trying to get a look in at all the celebs – JLS, Caprice Michelle Keegan, Alex Curran & Misha B to name a few.

It was choc-a-block outside the venue as fans went celeb crazy, trying to get pictures and autographs from this gathering of gorgeous people. You could barely move outside and people were clambering over one another to get the best pics - crazyyy.

Funny thing is, the one I was most excited about (I’m not gonna lie) was Cheryl Fergison (AKA Heather from Eastenders!!). Now I’m not a massive pop/celeb culture person but back in the day when I did watch soaps, Heather was in it!

And yes, I got a pic - naturally

Cheryl was lovely and more than happy to get a photo with myself and my friend Steph (yes, another Steph). We then frantically sent the photos off to our mum's (they still watch Eastenders after all and would be most impressed).

From celebs to competition winners, all of the girls looked amazing rocking their Lipsy dresses. In true Lipsy style the event was glamorous, glitzy and gorgeous all rolled into one.

I was loving Misha B's retro style and Sian Welby and Amelia Lily were looking every bit the hot rock chic.  Also spotted was super sexy Georgia Salpa - no guessing why she's FHM's 5th hottest woman - looking awesome in Lipsy, co-ordinating her colour block stilettos with a Hawaiian print midi.

Of course, I couldn't resist getting my photo taken with Alex Curran. She is, after all, the new face of the Lipsy VIP collection. She was - of course - championing her favourite dress of the collection she is fronting, showing off her amazing, toned bod in a navy figure hugging fishtail number and looked every bit the VIP.

Despite all the glam dresses, my favourite outfits of the night were of the less glitzy variety (but equally as awesome).. ‘Most stylish TV presenter’ winner Lilah Parsons wore a Lipsy tweed dress and I loved her take on it. She brightened it up with some amazing neon yellow stilettos and neon necklace to match, tying it all together with a simple white jacket and clutch – she looked super stylish and absolutely gorgeous.

That and the uber cute Lipsy light blue skater dress worn by Wallis Day. Pairing it with white stilettos (a nod to the old school Essex stereotypes!) and a few simple bangles really worked, she looked stunning.

The night was hosted by TOWIE legend, Michelle’s man: Mark Wright who presented her with the award for ‘Hottest Soap Star’ – Was there really any competition with that bod/face combo.

But Mark and Michelle weren't the only beautiful couple on the red carpet..

Oritse Williams (JLS) and his girlfriend AJ rocked some serious hot couple style - AJ looked amazing in her black cage neck Lipsy dress and I'm in love with her hair - such a good colour! She's certainly a catch.

Not only was it celeb galore at the party, but plenty of bloggers came down to celebrate too!
It was really great to finally meet some bloggers and I had the opportunity to have a good chat with Kylie from Memoir Mode and Dawn from Dress me perfect, who were both looking gorgeous, were super nice and offered me tips on how to help my baby blog to blossom.

A huge congrats to Dawn who picked up Company's 'Best personal style blog' - what an amazing achievement! Well done you.

The awards celebrated all things celeb – with style crushes to charity contribution; all ground was covered to make way for an awesome night of celebrations, mingling and 1 or 2 delicious cocktails.

I certainly had a good night and I can vouch for many others that had a great time. Lipsy put on a brilliant night and made sure everyone was kitted out in hot attire to party the night away...

... well most of it - it was a school night after all!
