The sun has graced us with her presence for more than just one day and so it's time to believe that summer really is here - It seemed as though it would never arrive, I know!
The sun IS shining and - apparently - will be until mid week next week, of course the rain will come, as it always does, but the temperatures are still supposed to be relatively warm - fingers crossed!
I think this is my most summery outfit so far, super bright, fresh and it just makes me feel like it's summer just looking at the clothes put together.
The skirt's been in a couple of times before but it's the top that I really like about this look. It's covered in these little cut out flowers so makes it a little bit see-through (and a hell of a lot more breathable). I picked it up at a charity shop in Brixton for £3!
When I first bought it I was planning on playing around with it and removing the collar but the more I wore it with the collar the more I liked it.
The jewellery has all featured before and are Ebay or charity shop purchases - I'm a serious bargain hunter, I honestly don't remember the last time I spent over £30 on something! It surely must have been back in Australia when I wasn't living on the borderline of pennilessness.
I love how the coral of the necklace 'pops' out and the two colours are super complimentary of one another, I wore my black studded boots - a firm fav - to tie in the gold jewellery and add a little less girly edge.
We took a little getaway trip up to Cambridge to visit a friend who lives there - it was so beautiful. I wore this outfit and thankfully, the sun shone all weekend. Beer festivals, walks along the river and a little bit of touristy sightseeing went down a treat!
The sun shone - but the coat was definitely necessary - Oh England.
