Valentine's day is hot on our heels.
For me, being 3 years in, some may say I don't need to think about what to wear on date night. But I disagree, I love putting together an outfit and what better opportunity to throw something together than on the date night of all date nights.
We are off to Cirque du Soleil that evening and so, being mostly dark/sat down/all eyes ahead, I've decided on a more casual look.
For those of you that have ventured down to Camberwell market on a Sunday, you will understand the delights of finding amazing things for amazingly low prices.
On my last trip I picked up this beautiful handmade suede leather skirt for a ridiculous bargain at only $2 - I couldn't believe my luck!
This crop top was a sweet little $5 bargain from H&M on Bourke St and sits exactly right with the high waist of the skirt.
The shoes (by Wittner) featured a couple of posts ago and I just couldn't say no to bringing them along again. They're such a versatile shoe and look awesome on.
They look equally great dressed up or with a more casual look and really add some edge to your outfit.
This necklace is an old fav picked up at Brixton market in London and the gorgeous bag was a Christmas gift from Zara - such a beautiful mustard colour and just the right in-between size for daily use.
For those classic Melbourne days we all need a jacket! This one is a H&M favourite, super lightweight, non-creasing and really easy to throw in your bag for when the evening turns a bit chilly.
Hats were never my thing but I picked this one up in Cotton On for $20 and thought I'd give it a shot.
Turns out they are now my thing and I pretty much haven't taken it off since!
Be it spent with friend's, family or a partner - have an awesome Valentine's day and look killer while you're at it!
